How long do I have to stay in Hungary?
One week is usually enough for most crown and bridge work. The client is recommended to stay for about 10 days for the following treatments: the second visit of implants and combination work.
Implants require 2 visits: The first visit is for the surgery and the second is for constructing. The second visit is after about 3-6 months.
Do doctors and assistants speak English at the clinic?
The staff at UPDent speak English.
I
have allergy to certain kinds of metal. What shall I do?
Nickel and palladium are usually responsible for most frequent allergies. These materials are not in use for a long time. If you are allergic to other metals, please inform your dentist about it. The most common alternative is gold or zirconia.
If I want to go ahead with treatment how much notice do I need to give?
As much as you can but we like at least two weeks to organise appointments.
How is dental implantation carried out?
The dentist places the implants into the jawbone under local anaesthetic. The implants need at least 3 months to integrate with the bone. Artificial teeth can be attached at a second visit after integration.
What kind of dental materials are used in Hungary?
The same materials are used as in the UK, Germany, Japan or in the USA.
How do I pay for my treatment?
We accept payments either in cash or by credit card. You pay at the end of treatment.
